The Coosada 911 Communications District provides critical emergency dispatch and communication services for Coosada Police Department operations. Our dispatchers handle emergency calls, coordinate police responses, and maintain communication with Coosada Police officers in the field.

Echo911 Service Provider
The Coosada 911 Communications District contracts with Echo911, PSAP #8753 to provide comprehensive emergency communication services to the district. Echo911 provides the ECD with:
- 911 and non-emergency call intake
- Radio communications and unit coordination
- Incident documentation using the District's CAD/RMS
- Unit tracking and status management
- Mutual aid and outside agency coordination
- Interoperability support providing seamless interconnection between the Nationwide Mission Critical Push-to-Talk Unified Public Safety Network, the Town of Coosada VHF radio system, and the Alabama AIRS P25 LMR radio network

24/7 Emergency Service
All emergency communication services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When you call 911 in the Town of Coosada, Alabama, our highly trained and certified dispatchers are ready to help and will dispatch Coosada Police, Coosada Fire/Rescue, or EMS as needed.
Our dispatchers are all APCO International APCO Telecommunicator 7th Edition trained and certified, with Emergency Police Dispatch, Emergency Fire Dispatch, Emergency Medical Dispatch with Telephone CPR certifications at a minimum. Many dispatchers also have advanced training in specialized areas such as active shooter response, crisis communications, suicide intervention, and more.
